There are two ways to check whether Bluetooth is activated in Windows 10. Here’s how to do it:
- Look in the taskbar to see what’s going on. If Bluetooth isn’t visible, select Expand to expose it, then select Bluetooth to enable it. If your Windows 10 gadget isn’t paired with any Bluetooth accessories, you’ll see “Not related.”
- Check the options in the Settings menu. Select the Start button, then Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices from the drop-down menu. Check to see if Bluetooth is switched on.

- Ascertain that your Bluetooth system is within range. Check to see whether your Bluetooth computer is too near to some other USB device plugged into a USB 3.0 port if it’s unresponsive or slow. Bluetooth links can be hampered by unshielded USB devices.
